Jisne kiya munawwar Zainab hai wo nagina

Baba khuda ne mujhko beta ata kiya hai

A smile has emerged upon Murtaza's face
A Great (person of) Mercy has come into the House of the Qur'an

Zainab is the gem that had illuminated (the Holy Household)

Father (Prophet) God has blessed me a son

Beti ka ghar tumhari khushiyo se bhar gaya hai

Zahra pukaari Baba sajwaiye Madina

Ghar me Ali ke paayi Abbas ne wiladat

Antar ki laash kaanpi larzi hai uski turbat

Your daughter's home is filled with happiness 
Zahra said, Father get Madina decorated!

Marhab ki laash ko bhi aane laga pasina

Itna haseen beta Shabbir ne hai paya

Isko na dekhle wo unko yahan na lana

Koi buri nazar se dekhay ise kabhi na

Achay libaas pehno sab apne ghar sajao

Ho mehfile mawadat farshe wila bichao

Kese khushi manaen sikhla gaya qarina

Azlaan or Asim itni khushi mili hai

Is maah ka hai Sadqa har simt roshni hai

Gham se bhara huwa dil ab chahta hai jina

Organize gatherings celebrating Ali's Love
(Shabaan) taught us (the etiquette, rituals) of how to celebrate

Azlan and Asim experienced so much happiness
Because of this month, every place is illuminated 
Even a saddened heart is now filled with a desire to live on!
