Hussain’s Alone Poetry

Hussain’s Alone Poetry:

He was all alone
His soldiers gone
Hussain’s Alone
No one left by your side
All companions died
Around your tents you stride
You walk passed severed heads
Armour drenched in red
The air filled with dread
Karbala all silent
Despite the violence
Despite the tyrants
You bid your goodbye
Tears fill your eyes
You must now rise
He was all alone
His soldiers gone
Hussain’s Alone
You command your horse go
His hooves don’t follow
You look down below
You hear a crying sound
Coming from the ground
In grief your heart drowns
It’s Ruqaya you hear
Clinging on from fear
Begging please stay near
The truth you do know
That you must go
Despite sorrow sorrow
He was all alone
His soldiers gone
Hussain’s Alone
You declare your vision
Recall your mission
Make your decision
You clench your sword so tight
Face them all with might
Defending what’s right
With no fear you progress
At those who transgress
And those who oppress
Suddenly you stop
On sand blood spots
Your armour drops
He was all alone
His soldiers gone
Hussain’s Alone
You’re pushed onto the ground
Silence is the sound
On your chest he mounts
Shimr holds your beard high
Like showing the sky
The final goodbye
Angels begin to weep
His dagger digs deep
Blood begins to seep
The world starts to fade
Under his blade
Left with no aid
He was all alone
His soldiers gone
Hussain’s Alone
