O Fatema Zahra, O Fatema Zahra

All the mourners' lips chant this

O Mother of Hasnain, hear (our) wails

All the mourners beseech (praying)

Let us too now witness (in person) Baqiyya, O Lady

Everyone gets their sustenance through you, only

May all the calamities be turned away from 

You are the (source of comfort) for every broken heart

No desire remains to seek anything (from you, anymore)

The fate of the destitute one brightens, instantaneously

If only (one is) blessed by your Grace

Unfortunate it was (for you) to be summoned to the (Caliph's) Court

You were refuted and aggrieved in the (Caliph's) Court, too

The masses never recognized your (lofty) status

The door at which the Prophet (saws) paid respects by bowing his head

The Muslim Nation desecrated that door by burning it down

Upon the collapsing of that door, your ribs were fractured too

What calamity did the Muslim Nation not afflict you with?

They did not let you even weep for your Father 

You were frail (from the calamities) at the (tender) age of eighteen

The Holy Prophet weeps in his Tomb for his daughter

The grave of the Queen of the Universe lays in darkness
